World Congress of Accountants 2010
Held every four years, the World Congress of Accountants (WCOA) gives accounting professionals an international forum to debate the issues affecting their industry. ACCA is proud to be a Gold Sponsor of the 18th World Congress which will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia from 8-11 November 2010. The theme of the congress will be 'Accountants: sustaining value creation'.
Due to overwhelming response, the WCOA organisers have launched the online registration system ahead of schedule. Until 30 June 2010, delegates who register online can save US$100 on the normal rate and enjoy the early bird fee of US$800 (for those based in developing countries) and US$900 (for those based in developed countries). Hotel accommodation, airport transfers and pre- and post-congress tours can also be arranged through the system.

Host organisation
The 2010 World Congress is held under the sponsorship of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and is being hosted by the regulatory body of the accounting profession in Malaysia, the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
